We'll cover effective techniques to find inspiration (and stay inspired!) for each of your design projects
Make a collaborative board for you and your clients to stay aligned throughout the design process
Learn to use specific online and offline tools in tandem to stay organized
Session 3 |
Space Planning
Learn how to best plot out the functional use of a space
Learn step by step how to create accurate floor plans and furniture plans of the space you’re designing
Create wall elevations to communicate important hanging heights and installation instructions
Session 4 | Visually Communicating your Design
Learn to create visual project renderings (or mood boards)
We’ll walk through the programs we use for rendering step-by-step
We’ll create a 3D visual of your room from different perspectives
Session 5 | Purchasing Lists
We’ll discuss your client’s purchasing options and what works best for you in different project scenarios
Learn how to gain designer discounts and best work with your vendors
Create a product list organized in the most efficient way for easy purchasing
Session 6 | Project Presentation
We’ll create your own personalized presentation template to present your work
Learn how to organize your presentation for maximum impact and client understanding
Learn to create a presentation that truly stands out with texture samples, product pages, accurate installation instructions
Annotation techniques
Learn best practices for the post-design revisions process
